Ooopsie!
It’s the weirdest feeling.
One moment I’m walking across the TJ’s (Trader Joe’s) parking lot and the next moment I know I’m about to hit the asphalt. Probably hard. Even sitting on asphalt is not that comfy but in an instant I somehow know to roll into the fall.
I don’t even remember whether I rolled back to my feet or just got up quickly.
The guy driving the car I had my eye on is asking me if I’m okay.
(Sure! an excuse for my distraction!)
“Thanks, man! Thank you!! Thanks for asking! I’m okay!!” And then on into the store.
Anyway, I think my roll was cushioned by the two shopping bags I was carrying over my left shoulder.
Always bring your bags!
